Dear Readers
Welcome to July! The summer is
flying by, and this week we are
celebrating our country’s Independence Day. Thank you Jesus for our
country. And we are also celebrating our Third Anniversary as an online
magazine. How time flies when you're having fun!
We have a lot of new and
exciting things coming down the pike. First
and foremost notice on the banner ad at the top of this column. The
Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference is offering two
scholarships for CFOM readers. Each scholarship is worth 50% off of
your registration cost for the conference next month! Hurry and sign
up!
And another new item!! Stay
tuned for our new section. Yes…we are
going to have a whole new tab with a new focus. Would you like to know
what it is?? LOL…you’re going to have to wait until next month.
But alas…even with exciting
things to come, they are tinged with a
bit of sadness. One of our original columnists, Brandilyn Collins has
decided to retire from writing her “Making A Scene” column here in
CFOM. We are going to miss her. I, personally have learned immensely
from her teachings, her book on our craft, and just from reading her
novels. We wish you well friend.
And another of our columnists is
also leaving. Adele Annesi who
writes our “Word For Words column is also leaving because of her
daunting schedule. We bid you a fond farewell Adele. (And I did not
rhyme that on purpose.)
We have a new column this
month…and we’ll also have two new columns
in addition to the new tab, next month! Stay tuned. The suspense is
building!
I am proud to introduce our new
column this month as She Reads! “Hey,” I bet you’re
saying! “That name belongs to the website She
Reads.”
You’re right! She Reads is now writing a column in CFOM to introduce
our readers to their featured author of the month. Check them out on
the BlitzTab!
Well that’s enough excitement
for one month. (I’m getting too old…LOL)
Blessings!
