School is out for many people in the Southwest. Is there a better way to relax during the summer than by reading good book? I think not! Reading won’t cause wrinkles or skin cancer, but it might make your heart pound and broaden your experiences. Can’t afford to travel? No problem. Just check out a book in which the characters take an amazing trip and you can be right there enjoying the fun with them . . . in your mind.

Because of the many benefits reading a great book offers, CFOM continues to make contests available for our readers. CFOM introduces another imminent change. June will be the last month Rachel Hauck discusses the jewels that can be found in Christian fiction. Beginning with the July issue, she will switch her focus to social networking. By the end of May 2009, CFOM has had over 68,375 visitors and more than 121,000 page loads. Our incredible magazine reaches an increasing number of readers each month. Feedback continues to be encouraging, and I’m proud to be associated with such a quality magazine.
