October 1st 2010
Dear Readers,
Hi folks, well September is
gone, fall has arrived, and I can feel the snow nipping at our heels.
LOL…just kidding. For any of you that were there, wasn’t the ACFW
conference just awesome! I got to love on a ton of people that I had
only ever known by email, eat fabulous and fattening food, and hang out
with some of the best folks in our Christian fiction industry.
In case any of you would like to
see some photos, I have a public link to my Facebook album so
you don’t have to have an account to see them HERE.
This month we’ve got some great
columns as usual. I wish I could list more of them on the cover! Nancy
Moser has a truly beautiful devotion entitled “More.”
Wanda Dyson gives us great Conference Wrap-up from ACFW. And
Brandilyn is taking us to the next writing lesson of “Subtexting
in Dialogue.”
We have a couple columns ending,
and a couple on hiatus till the new year and some redirection, but I’m
always looking for great column ideas to keep us fresh and in the know.
LOL…we’ve got a couple goodies in the works, so stay tuned.
Christmas will swiftly be upon
us and I may be able to give our dedicated CFBA reviewers a much needed
break from the epic barrage of books we’ve been reviewing over the last
few months…because they are going to need it. We have dynamite book
selections coming up for the new year.
There is a great article about
the state of Christian fiction in Christian Marketplace. And a
Publishers Weekly article about the conference over HERE.
Well that’s what we’re all about
folks, Christian fiction…reading…writing…and enjoying. So enjoy your
month of October!
God bless and keep you all.
