Alas…the summer has deserted us,
and this past weekend saw us in the
Northeast deluged with snow…up to 2 feet in some areas. Praise Jesus
that it wasn’t here. I like snow as well as the next, but our area is
still struggling to recover from the massive flooding of September.
While at the same time I have friends who were burnt out in the Texas
fires.
I have asked the Lord to help me
understand why all of these things
befall friends and neighbors, and while one is suffering in drought,
another is overcome with flooding. And while one is consumed with wild
fires, another is inundated with snow.
His answer to me…”My grace is
sufficient for thee.”
Amen Father, and some day when
we get to have a glorious Homegoing,
we will be in a position to understand, but for now we must press
forward, and run the race he has given each of us…to the best of our
ability.
Blessings.
Oh…PS…if you are a book reviewer
and so inclined, my debut novel is up on NetGalley.com, Abingdon Press
as the Publisher, for e-reader download and review:
