Dear Reader,
Christian Fiction Online Magazine is thrilled to announce that CFOM Owner/Publisher Bonnie Calhoun and Editor-in-Chief Michelle Sutton have contracted with Abingdon Press for a two book suspense/mystery series. The first two titles are Thicker Than Sisters and Thicker Than Blood. The series is titled Madison PI.
Bonnie just returned from teaching at her second writer’s conference this year and I am on my way to the American Christian Fiction Writers conference in September. Have a great idea or short story? Don’t be shy. Please contact me at the conference or send me an e-mail through the Contact Us page and tell me your idea. As the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, it’s my job to acquire new content and manage the columnists. I’m always open to hearing new ideas.
September is the month when schools all over the USA are finally in full swing. Why not donate a great book to your local school library? Most schools have no budget to speak of so I’m sure they would really appreciate anything they can get.
Also, if you are dying to read a great story but don’t know what to pick up and read next, check out our blog tour page and see what we’re touring on CFBA this month. You can also check out our many columnists pages and read their bios and ads to find out about their latest releases. Our Reviewer’s corner column this month features romance.
The contests on CFOM have no charges or catches. They are just plain fun . . . and it’s all free. So why not toss your name into one of our contests this month and see if you’ll be our next winner? If you’d like to promote one of your books, check out former giveaways to get an idea of how it’s done. Then contact me through this publication by clicking on the Contact Us tab and filling out the form.
For the month of September, CFOM has instituted one new change. Because of health issues the Confession Corner column has ended. And after the September issue, the Fiction International column is officially retiring as we’ve run out of columnists to feature. Also, after much prayer and listening for God’s direction for her life, our Write Real columnist Mary DeMuth will be retiring her column after the November issue. If you are an aspiring author make sure to check out our writing columns and hers in particular while she is still going strong.
