Dear Reader,
Welcome to the debut issue of Christian Fiction Online Magazine, which is presented to you via the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance. Many of you know Bonnie Calhoun. She heads up the CFBA and it was her desire to start an online magazine to further the ministry and spread the word about Christian fiction to an even broader audience.
You might be asking yourself what in the world she was thinking when she decided to hire me on as Editor in Chief of the magazine? I couldn’t tell you for certain, since we’re both extremely busy people, but I know it was God’s plan for us and for this magazine. Things are working out beautifully and we are very excited about the future of Christian Fiction Online Magazine. We both want to see Christian fiction become as popular as the Veggie Tales, so that all people will see it as an option for their reading pleasure, both Christians and non-Christians alike.
By helping us spread the news about this magazine, you will be furthering the cause for everyone who loves to read and/or write Christian fiction. CFOM is targeting readers of Christian fiction around the world. This includes bookstores, libraries, individual readers, authors, publishers, editors, agents, churches, and book clubs. But if people don’t know we exist, they won’t find us, and as you will see by this debut issue, they’ll be missing out on a lot of fun and great teaching.
Please copy the code for our “button” and post it on all of your sites to help us spread the word. We’ve got an awesome lineup for you here and hope you return to visit us every month.
Last, to celebrate our first CFOM issue we are giving away a box of 20 fiction novels in assorted genres! You heard right. That is 20 different books! They make great gifts even if you don't read them all. So to enter to win this Box O Books simply go to the Contest page and enter your name.
Peace!
